We love our pets

What an exciting week!
Our pets mean so much to us. From horses to goldfish, they are loved.  We learned about how we care and love our pets.
We also learned about the the color blue,
the square shape, and letter T / T sound.
We are counting #1-20 and learning 1:1 correspondence.
We're also working on how to be kind and helpful to our friends.

This friend was making sure gas tanks were filled.

Painting our pet rocks.
It got a little messy.

Working together to create kennel houses for our miniature pets.

B-L-U-E, I can spell blue....
We stamped and wrote the letters for the color word blue.

Here are our T items we found.

Painting with feathers

Cutting practice.

Drawing faces onto the pets.

We were working on our letter sounds.
For the correct letter sounds,
they received a sticker.

Creating a dog with different shapes.

Drawing our pets in our writing journal.

Creating color patterns.
Which two colors will you choose?

Putting the letters of our printed name in order.

Let's read together.
This story introduced prepositional words and repetition.
"The dog is under the house."

Making our turtles.
They used the marshmallows to
paint their designs.

We are buddies

Thank you to Mrs.Nicole for bringing in Peter the rabbit
and telling is about how to care for bunnies.

Friends and Family

Happy Birthday!!

"Come play with me."

I don't usually post myself. However, I couldn't resist.
We tried to see how many friends we could fit into our selfie.

We glued fabric squares onto paper to make up individual "quilt" pieces.
We will attach them all together and make our friendship quilt.

"Can I take your order?"
I didn't get many pictures with this activity.
I had them feel sand paper and compared that feeling to harsh unkind words.
Then, we passed cotton balls and compared them to kind words.
"Let's use more cotton ball words."
Sharing our letter M items.
This friend had an interesting response,
"Mommy made this."
(I did not get a group picture.
I'll be sure to do that next week.)

"Can you make an M?"

"Can you make an M with popsicle sticks?"

This is where we traced circles and created family faces.
Also, we dotted with cotton swabs onto M dots.

Monster making station.
Thank you for taking the time to create your family page.
These friends loved sharing their pictures and fun stuff.

Snack time.

"See your shadow?"

Name writing/identifying practice.

Writing our names and drawing our families.

"This is my house."

Showing his moves on the floor mat.

"Push the wall. You can do it!"

Happy Graduation Parade!
