Happy Thanksgiving

This was a game focused on using good manners.
They were given a plate with a picture of food on it,
If they wanted it they would say,
"Yes, please or no, thank you."

"Who likes pumpkin pie?"
They enjoyed their Thanksgiving feast snack.
Thank you for providing the food that went with our
Thanksgiving story.

These acorns have letters printed on the the outside.
On the inside, there is a tiny item that starts with the
letter from the outside.  We worked on letter identification
and the letter sound.  I would say, the letter sound and they
would have to say if they had the matching acorn.
Thankful for Jesus.
They crumbled up tissue squares to resemble
corn.  Then, they glued it on to fill up the cross.

Letter Review with a turkey.
They were each given a clothespin with a lowercase letter.
They had to find the matching uppercase letter.
We continued our letter review with watercolors.

Thankful turkeys.

Here is the new doll furniture for the dollhouse.
It was purchased with the trike-a-thon money.
I have also purchased new puzzles and literacy games.
Then, there's other fun things like chart paper.

Shaking whipped cream to make butter.
We had to shake, shake, shake for several minutes.
This taught us of how the pilgrims had to make
a lot of their food from scratch and didn't have stores like we do.

"How does the butter taste?"
"Look at my worm I found."
