With Easter approaching, and Palm Sunday just passed, this week's focus is about Jesus. You can add in some Easter eggs and jelly beans.
Here are some ideas for Creative Art:
I know this is different, but most will love this.
Grab some washable paint
several pieces of paper
and roll up their pant legs.
Place the pieces of paper in a row, within jumping range of each other.
Paint the bottom of their feet and have them jump onto each paper like a bunny.
You can adjust whatever you need with this.
Write sight words, numbers, letters on the paper before they jump, and have them say it as they jump.
Too Messy? Here's another idea.
Grab some paint and forks and have them paint little chicks.

Or, if you have some painters tape, try creating a tape resist cross using whatever art supplies you have handy. Sturdy card stock paper and Dot markers, colored pencils, markers, water color.
Some Math ideas:
We would be working on simple addition and subtraction this week.
You'll need jelly beans, they're a great motivator.
You will find a jelly bean work sheet attached to the email.
After practicing number writing...take it a step further and add and subtract.
This is absolutely a no stress activity. Just use the jelly beans as incentive and keep it very very simple and fun. This is NOT something they have to master right now. However, the concepts can be introduced.
For Science:
Get some Easter eggs and put small items in it.
Coins, cotton balls, pom poms, etc...Make a prediction - Sink or float?
For sight word in:
Grab playdough and scissors. Roll out the playdough and cut the pieces to make the letters i n.
Or, write a simple sentence - "I like to swim in the pool."
Cut it up and have them rearrange the sentence correctly. Then, have them draw a picture of them "in a pool."
Last, here is a kid-friendly video on the death and resurrection of Jesus. It does show that Jesus became bruised and hurt in a very mild manner. It will bring up the question as to why Jesus had to go through what he did. Please use your discretion. It does have a happy ending.
