Apples, Apples, Apples.

Puzzle games.
Who can get it done first?

Science/reading center play
Counting apples with our finger prints.
(1:1 correspondence)

Painting with marbles.

Painting apples with sponges.
Popsicles!! Yay!
They worked hard this week.

Rectangle robots!
Nothing to do with apples.
But fun, none-the-less.
(Two friends asked to take
their own picture of their art.)

In the touch table - STEAM Challenge.
Three-dimensional Apple trees.
They stand the tp roll up as a tree.
They place the strips on top.
Then, balance pom-pom apples on top of the strips.

skill levels. How are they holding their markers?
Are they following directions?
Do they need more challenge?

At the writing center,
I invite them to create their own work with
specific materials. This week it was stamping. On another day, they had black paper with contrasting oil pastels.
